Frequently asked
What do I need to run ExplicateX?
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). 8 GB of memory is enough for narration; 16 GB is recommended for creating images on your computer. A graphics card makes images much faster, and the optional online image mode takes seconds on any PC.
Do I need the internet?
Only once to start the trial or activate, and to download the voice and image models. After that, ExplicateX works offline.
What happens when my licence ends?
Your courses stay on your computer and can always be exported. To keep editing and publishing, renew for another 3 years.
Why might Windows show a warning when installing?
ExplicateX is not yet signed with a commercial certificate, so Windows may say it does not recognise the publisher. Here is why it is safe, and how updates are protected.
Can I move ExplicateX to a new computer?
Yes. Deactivate it on the old computer from Manage licence, then activate on the new one. If the old computer stopped working, use Licence help.
